We're watching the Mets & it is disheartening to watch them. The Atlanta team is more exciting & we watch them when the Mets aren't on.
We're getting lots of cucumbers & the tomatoes are starting to ripen & I've picked several.
The wedding last Sun was lovely & JoAnn was a beautiful bride. Her dress was so pretty. An outdoor setting. Then the reception at the hotel on the waterfront. Full dinner. About 75 guests. You should see the parking areas now at Chautauqua -- really enlarged & quite a walk to the gates. And it costs $3e,25 to p ark. Lot of people there & the waterfront is so pretty. I'd never been beyond the Ampitheater.
I've been sending pictures of Eddie when I write letters to the relatives. Stella was glad to get one & I enclosed one in Ruth's birthday card. And Edna has enjoyed getting pictures. I had a nice letter from Edna & she will spend a week at the Jersey Shore with relatives of Wally. One has a 4 bedroom cottage. A week ago we met our friends for lunch (7 of us) & then played miniature golf & I was the only one to get a hole in one & it was a hard hole. Dad came out as low scorer.
We like your swim suit Barbara. Colorful. Do you have a tan? You should see Dale's tan. He was off this past week. On Tues. he was called back to finish a job as the parts had come in & they didn't want to wait any longer. He wasn't too happy but he did it. Was home by 1 pm & he didn't go in til 9 A.M.
Remember Dru Hanna? Well she & her husband are expecting identical twin boys. Already has 3 children & a home that will be too small.
